Major product lines include DNA/RNA separations products, protein separation products including isoelectric focusing gels, and cell assay products to perform in vitro toxicology, drug discovery research, and cell health assays. Rockland is also the largest manufacturer of agarose powder worldwide.

Rockland manufactures over 500 finished products that are shipped to academic and government institutions, biotech and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. Additionally our agarose is being exploited for use in personal care and cosmetic markets and medical applications.

The Rockland site continues to develop custom and innovative products for the life science research market. The most recent introduction included the FlashGel™ System which was the first commercial product that enabled researchers to view nucleic acid separation in real time without harmful UV light in as little as 5 minutes.
